Graphic organizers are effective tools to organize many projects.  There are different types of organizers for different projects.

Dr. Wahl has constructed graphic organizers according to the way students think and according to the demands of the task.  She has also taught a graduate course in education in which the entire course was mapped by using graphic organizers.  This technique starts with the end in mind:  What do we want the students to know and be able to do by the end of the course?  When teachers have these ends in mind at the beginning of the school year, they are more likely to achieve their goals with students.
